
STUDENT VISAS
First you should be accepted to study at an academic or vocational school in the United States.
- You might qualify for an F-1 (academic student) or M-1 (vocational student)
- Your visa should be good for the length of your studies except for the visa M-1, which are limited to a one-year stay.
- You may qualify for a J-1 exchange visitor visa. This visa is good for the length of the program.

Get Your Green Card With Ease
Having a Green Card (officially known as a Permanent Resident Card) allows you to live and work permanently in the United States.
You must replace your Green Card if:
- Your Green Card has either expired or will expire within the next six months;
- Your previous card was lost, stolen, mutilated, or destroyed;
- You have been a commuter and are now taking up actual residence in the United States;
- You have been a permanent resident residing in the United States and are now taking up commuter status;
- Your card contains incorrect information;
- You have legally changed your name or other biographic information on the card since you last received your card; or
- You never received the previous card issued to you.
